Designed to promote and bring awareness to Edmonton’s Waste Management program, the two trucks started as simple drawings exploring possibilities rather than reality. Through the use of vinyl the two units have gone from inanimate containment units to something with a possibility of life. With the sole purpose of waste disposal, the robots are fueled by our need to dispose of the obsolete and the forgotten, creating an unbreakable bond between man and machine.
